I don't think i could ever take The Game Awards seriously when Sifu won best fighting game a few years ago, which isn't really considered a fighting game by anyone who actually plays fighting games.

If you can't buy it on its own, and it doesn't play on its own, how is it a game on its own? The Game Awards nominating a DLC package for GOTY is robbing an actual game of a finalist nomination.

It's wild that every new Mario RPG has been very successful. I have no doubt that leaving the portable space will lead to record success for Brothership.

I usually steer clear of commenting about politics around here, but one key issue that deeply concerns me with the next administration is their intention to ban pornography. No doubt there's gonna be a lawsuit, but with the current makeup of the Supreme Court, i'm not feeling too optimistic.

Yeah, I forgot the Steam Next Fest trailer. But still had no release date then dropped the game with two weeks notice into a week already full of bigger news. Very poor advertising decisions by developer/publisher.

Eh, they've put out a trailer or two since the initial reveal. Also, they put out a demo during a recent Steam Next Fest.

Level-5 take notice. Metal Gear Tactics also in running for way-too-early advertising. Revealed August 11, 2021 for a 2022 release. After not hearing about it for two years, it got a surprise announcement of Nov. 5 release yesterday, with virtually no window for advertising between now and then.
