Title: What makes the Viper series so great?

Well? I mean, just take a quick look at the amount of hentai games out there, and you'd probably be surprised. So what do you think it is that makes the Viper games / series so great? Even when it's one of the thousands of hentai series out there, outdated, and even out of business.

In my opinion, it's the style and characters. Even to this day, if I want to check out some hentai chicks or whatever, I'd probably look to the Viper games, even if the quality is outdated. Just look at new stuff like "Do You Love Horny Bunnies", and so on, and you'll see what I mean. But I still just love the style the Viper games have.

But still, the characters are awesome. That's probably what it mainly is for me. Akira, Miki, Asuka ... the Viper games in my opinion house the sexiest anime girls I've ever seen.

I saw that bouncing Akira gif years ago, then it all began ... =D

So, what makes the Viper series so great in your opinion?
(side note: This is all coming from someone who has been into hentai for years, but I have yet to actually play a Viper game ... lol, just a big fan of the gifs and scans).

Beautiful Women, interesting character designs and character personalities.

You know, not just the usual hentai game personalities.

1. Smart Girl who is really horny but can't find fullfillment
2. Bitchy girl who is really dominant
3. Tomboyish girl who gets into it really bad
4. Jailbait-y girl who gets into it really bad

Their stuff has been fully animated since 1992.  Most game companies are only recently adding short animation sequences into their normally static game CGs.  And for their time, the games would for the most part very good even without animation.  The character designs and stories encompass a wide range (not to mention most of the earlier ones are hilarious), so there's at least one viper game that everyone can enjoy.

The characters.

They're really what make the games stand out more than other hentai series.  Not to mention the animation.  Could you imagine how strongly the characters could exist on their own without the animation?

Or how if it was generic characters being animated that all of the great animation in the world wouldn't help it become popular?
