Kuwagata-donar, the compassionate horned beetle henchman of Donarghe, faced death at the hands of Bravan, just as the brave warrior Dyna did against the Demon.

Dyna pretty much died from the start. I always got a kick out of how Kuwagata was depicted so differently between the two Bravan installments. I'd go with Kuwagata.

I can never remember poor "Kuwagata"'s name, but he is indeed "my boy", totally my favourite of the male characters in the series and a righteous dude to boot.
Turning him from a generic monster rapist with a weird squeaky voice into a fairly amicable kindly uncle type with an ear for others' troubles and a shoulder to cry on was a brilliant idea. Partly as it's so strange to see, but also because I like things that are unexpected, and I have to say his death was actually fairly poignant, due to the futility of his actions and the really inopportune timing of the young girl's arrival.
And I must admit that so far as vices go, raping Anri is one that I think I can understand.
Also, who honestly gives a fuck about Dyna?
-
It's probably Dyna's own fault for not bringing enough potions and revives anyway.
Despite starting out as generic monster, Beetleman was made to have more depth than even some of the series' protagonists, and his death at least qualifies him for a hall of fame spot.
Kuwagata-sama, you will be missed.
