Title: I need help on Viper CTR. Any possible walkthroughs or completed gamesaves?
Post by: evilshadow on March 26, 2006, 05:44:38 am: Hi there, first time forum user/Viper player. Since CTR had a fairly small filesize, I decided to download this game first.

After setting up Oh! Text Hooker with the game, playing through with the rough translations is really difficult. I can never seem to get the right answers, which always ends up leading to the main character's demise during the kendo scene. (which in fact, I still can't figure out how to swing the kendo stick)

Are there any possible walkthroughs/FAQs for this game out there? If not...does anyone have any finished saves so I can see the good endings? Thanks in advance!

Can someone post a link to oh text hooker? I went to the homepage only to find it's been taken down recently... I'd like to see exactly how well it compares to my tool. (Post in the Viper/SGS Tools thread please.)

I found out that CTR registry edit you gave me extracted the files into the wrong folder. I had to copy the binary save values into the directory that that held my game's save files, and it worked. Thanks again!

Post by: JG on March 26, 2006, 11:07:00 pm: Yeah I should've remembered that its probably a few years old and designed for non-NT registries. I should've changed it to an NT registry structure first. My bad.
