I don't know about fashion statement, but I know I wouldn't mind running into someone decked out in Buraiban or Mika's armor.

Carrera's is nice, but nothing TOO fancy (it's just like, sexy leather and stuff).

But if I was waited by a waitress wearing something like Saki, Karen, and Akira wore ...

Wow.

If only I had the money, time, and space to put all that Polystrene Thermoplastic.

lol who the hell said "No Too revealing", are you blind?! Look at the television or what's on display at your local mall.

That said, I bet it will be in a Fashion Show in Paris.

I will also tune in and TiVo said Fashion Show. for later "use"

I just voted "no," but not for the too revealing reason.  Cartoon costumes rarely translate well into real life.  Look at comic book movies; Superman is the only one who has translated directly onto the screen.  There would need to be a lot of work done to make them look less goofy, like Spidey's alterations for the motion picture.

That and the fact that although the character design in many of the Viper games is divine, many the costume designs are a little... umm... chotto.  I adore Cala, but I dig her much more without the threads.  I wish she coulda lost those sandals at some point.

BTW, on that design note, Edage Katsura did a fantastic job on the character design for RSR and CTR.  I've looked about for more stuff by him (besides V10, if he did indeed work on that), but I can't find any more info on him.  Any leads out there?

Speaking of which, I wonder what happened to the Buraiban Suit after Sogna went out of business?

There's pictures of a man dressed up as Buraiban at different conventions Sogna had a booth at, so I'm assuming he was the official Buraiban cosplayer.

But still, there's a chance that somewhere on this earth (probably in Japan) his suit is still around somewhere, like on Yahoo Japan or in a museum somewhere.

I'd like to see it someday.  It just sounds so nostalgic, going on a trip to find the Buraiban suit.  We could probably use it to fight aliens when the need arises.

Oh the wonderful hijinks that one could imagine occuring while seeking the mythical Buraiban suit.  All the battles, challenges, misadventures, hot girls, and shady deals with the Yakuza that all end in a wonderful sitcom-ish laugh scene.

Seriously though, if we could find out where that thing is, I do believe I'd pay money to see it.

The cartoonish ones, yes, but is it too much to ask for having Hannah Miller type resturants on this side of the ocean?  That would at least cover the V16/GTB/GT1 girls. (yum)

The V series have no credits, so its hard to tell if he did the Northern Lights story in V10 or not.  Unless you have a box or manual... which I don't.  He did the art for the CTR novel though, and a fair amount of art (and probably not all of it Northern Lights or RSR oriented) in various artbooks as well.

It's a shame.  After getting his name here, I did a quick google... which led me back to the post here that gave me his name!  Argh!  No I'm stuck in some kind of interweb hentai vortex!  How can I escape?!

And HM uniforms are indeed hawt.
