I personally use toilet paper instead of tissues.  Same thing, essentially, but you can measure out the amount you need.  Also, from personal experience due to my horrible nasal allergies, T.P. also seems a lot more durable (if you fold it up) and less likely than a tissue box to gather dust, which of course only promotes more sneezing and is counter-intuitive to the point of having tissues around.  Plus, it's a lot easier to see how much you've got left on a roll of T.P. than it is a box of tissues - you never know when might run out when you've got, shall we say, a "problem in hand."  =3
