Karma Description Mod
« on: February 23, 2006, 10:11:12 am »
How do you feel about the Karma Description Mod we have installed on the forum?

Personally, I like the idea of being able to keep track of who gave whom karma, but don't like the idea of always having to put down a reason for it.  What say youse guys?

Me too, but with the current mod we have to write down a reason everytime we give or take karma.  I think it may be better to just scrap it.

I like reasons.  Its useful for props for rep-ups and an extra kick in the ass for rep-downs.  Without it you don't get to say why you plussed or minused them.  And without it, MildlyFragileRoommate would go on a downing spree again with no reason to dictate his taunts.

Dude, you got your stupid huge reputation because HG wanted to see if you'd even notice. And seeing as HG isn't undoing the giant rep you didn't earn, someone around here has to.

'Where' is related to location.
'Were' is related to time.

True, true.

I agree, yet I also like downing sprees.  I think I may be able to find a comfortable medium between the two.

It was just a test item!  It was just a test item!

Good question.  I really don't know.  I read up on the stealing item, and it looks like when you steal from someone, it works off of a success rate, meaning that the steal can fail.

Also, people can't steal from your bank, just money you have in your pocket.
