Video Game Stuff For Sale (mostly older systems)
« on: November 14, 2015, 06:48:34 pm »
I've come to the realization that I need more closet space and need to get rid of some of my video game collection - particularly stuff that hides in boxes and never gets used or looked at.  Good stuff, most of it, and as much fun as it was collecting it 10-20 years ago, I just no longer have much use for these things and want to see it go to people that could appreciate them more. Some of the stuff is just newer games that I don't really care to keep.

I'll let most of this stuff go rather cheap, especially the stuff thats emulatable or been repackaged for modern devices.  You can private message me if you're interested in anything or have questions.  Pictures available upon request.

This is an incomplete list of what I've got, highlighting some of the more collectible games for each system (about a third of what I've got in total.)  If there's a particular game, PM me and I'll check my list. CIB indicates complete in box, with instructions (assuming it came with any) and possibly the other things it would have come with.

Also have a for-all-intensive-purposes complete Atari Jaguar/Jaguar CD set, with every single store-available game and many of the rare demos and rarities you could only get online after Atari stopped support. I'd prefer to sell this collection as a single lot but that would be extremely expensive, so I can either piece out some of the rarer games (below) for collectors, or allow someone with a couple of thousand dollars hanging around to jump from nothing to one of the world's best Jaguar collections in one shot.
* Atari Karts (CIB)
* Battlesphere (CIB)
* Battlesphere Gold (CIB)
* Barkley Shut Up and Jam (loose)
* Hyper Force (CIB)

* ScatBox Classic (CIB)
* ScatBox Deluxe (CIB)

Tested all items under the SNK NEO*GEO, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo Virtual Boy headings.

All operational except Saturn Christmas Nights into Dreams Sampler: seems the disc is just too worn out for the Saturn to read it. :(

Amazingly, the NEO*GEO memory card still works - the box says the lithium battery in the card has a maximum life of 5 years, yet it was still recording save games as I tested them, after 20+ years.  The battery is not replaceable in these cards: this makes a working memory card highly desirable.

I've started selling some of this stuff, starting with the NES games (to cash in on NES Classic fever) on ebay. I generally intend to work oldest to newest, so SNES, Genesis/MegaDrive, and TG16 are coming up next.

If you're interested in any of the stuff listed above, PM me and we can negotiate by email before I list on ebay.  I can also combine purchases on ebay with purchases from the SDM For Sale page but it may require two invoices.

Those of you who previously inquired about items by PM I will reach out to you as well.
