Foamy is the cartoon incarnation of everything about emo/gothness that makes normal, awesome people twitch. I'd vote for option 4, except I do want to be mean about it. Foamy is bullshit.

Um...Because it's fun? O_o

Foamy's just one of those things that is great (as attributed by fans of the site), but it's definitely not for everyone.  Personally, I don't like some of the more hardcore Foamy fans I know, but then again, hardcore fans of anything tend to be annoying too.

Not at all.  What I'm talking about are fans who just can't accept the idea that there are other people that don't like what they like and that there's nothing wrong with those people for not liking what those particular fans like.  For example, the difference between someone saying "I like Viper," as opposed to "I like Viper and you suck for not liking it."

HEY!!! ME TOO!! XD Ok I dont get whats not really to like about foamy. What he talks about is pretty much true..am I right? I mean he pretty much talks about most situations in his rants that are true and then he has his little side things that is crazy as hell...

One thing I don't like about Foamy is that he seems to be angry for angt's sake.  What's the strongest thing he's advocated against?

The Atkins diet?  Who the fuck cares?  I wish I could laugh at his looney tunes antics, except that they're not very funny and they mostly strike me as whiny banter that's no better than the things he's complaining about.  All that, and in a squirrel voice, which multiplies just how annoying he can be.

I really have more respect for Maddox of thebestpageoftheuniverse.com, which for the most part complains just as much, but does in a way that's actually entertaining and does so without having to fall back on random french fry jokes.

Well, HG summed it all up quite well.  I personally don't dig on the Foamy because he seems to epitomize the Hot Topic snarky adolescent t-shirt vibe.

Additionally, the stupidity of the anti-Katrina news coverage cartoon was astounding:  we shouldn't see Katrina coverage on the news because what they really need is people to come help, and if you are busy reporting, you mustn't be helping out.  What excellent logic.  If you're going to rant publically, at least try to have the beginnings of a partially thought out stance.
