We're getting an arcade!

So far it's got DDR, X-Men vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, a Neo-Geo machine with Metal Slug and a few fighters, and a couple sports games. It's going to be getting a few others (the various incarnations of Tekken are high on the list to get) and maybe a Guilty Gear X2 machine! They said they'd try for Slash, but I'll take plain X2 or Reload gladly.

Awesome, have fun with that. I recently found out about a cool arcade over here so I know that feeling of getting an arcade. The one I go to has most of the recent top fighting games from Japan, and Japanese games in general.

I used to love going to Arcades back in the day, now they just seem to be a dying art.

Still, they are fun, especially DDR. But my expertise has and always will be old school style shooters and Tekken (Tekken bitchs, I will own you ALL, I placed in quite a few tournaments in my Prime, which...was when 3 was the newest one I haven't played a Tekken since Tag Tournament, I think the new ones look like they're trying too hard)

They're gonna get Tag Tournament. The arcade doesn't open officially until June, but they're putting the machines out in the game store that's going to own the arcade, so we get to play early.

Yeah, Gamers. I didn't mention it by name because I figured nobody'd know what it was. Anyway, they're getting another space on their row of stores to put the arcade in. For now though, they're cluttering the store.

Mine has a bunch of Initial D, SF3 2I, SF3 3S, three Tekken 5 machines, that new King of Fighters, 2 or 3 CVS2's, soem boxing shit + instrument games, PONG, Time Crisis 3//4, House of the Dead 4.

At least you've got Third Strike. The arcades around here only have SNK vs Capcom Chaos and some busted-ass Soul Calibur 2 machines.

There's a nice little Tilt arcade in the mall near me. And I mean "near", as it's like a four minute drive. As far as fighters go, there's Tekken 5, Tekken Tag, MvC2, Soul Calibur II, SvC Chaos, and KOF XI. Interestingly, KOF XI was installed in what used to be a horse racing cabinet, which I hear Tilt arcades elsewhere are doing as well. Unfortunately, the buttons are in the wrong order (they tried their best), but eh, I got used to it with lots of practice.

The sad part is, aside from when I bring friends along, I'm the only fucker who plays the damn game. The place isn't all that active in general, but cripes, SvC Chaos gets more attention. Er...Hadoukens, I guess. At least beating on my pals every so often has earned me the reputation of "that guy who doesn't lose" among the staff. :s
