Hey, has anyone seen the movie? I don't have the time to but I hear the fans really loved it.

But I think it's probably the best game-to-movie adaptation I've seen yet.

Pretty much the games are always better.

The only video game movies i saw were Street Fighter,Super Marios Bros.,both Tomb Raiders,both Mortal Kombats,both Resident Evils,and Doom.I liked all those. (But i still think the games are better).

I haven't seen Double Dragon or Silent Hill.I'm not really a Silent Hill fan(not even the games,i prefer Resident Evil),but from what i heard,alot of the people who saw the movie liked it.

Silent Hill was the epitome of game-to-movie movies.

Nothing tops this, seriously, it was perfect, the director probably ruined his career by making a video game movie correctly, it's gotten horrible reviews from critics, but only rave reviews from fans.

In short, I love you Christophe Gans, please bear my children.

When I saw the previews I was like "No way, they've finally made a video game movie that looks more like a legitimate movie than being based on a game."  I've never played Silent Hill, but I'd watch the movie on the basis that it looks like a well done horror movie.
