Stark Armor is awesome for melee. And since Spidey's all web damage and melee damage, the suit you stick with should depend on which one you'd rather rely on. Go Classic for webs, Stark for melee.

I haven't played Worms in ages. That game used to be incredible.

If it's not Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, it doesn't belong in here! Make a new topic.

Yeah, and now I'm too lazy to move that post, too.

Okay, I just started playing this in earnest again today, and all I have to say is "Fuck Iceman". I've got his best outfit half-way maxed out, and he STILL can't survive the first wave of enemies in his simulator mission.

Son of a bitch.  I just realized Hawkeye is only available in the PSP version.

That means I have to buy it and not one of the versions that actually has a decent resolution -_-

I played a little bit of this game last week. It's great, but I have a feeling the sequel will be much better.

Naturally. The only way for the series to go is up.

What?  Sequel?  It like... just came out didn't it?  Are they already talking about a sequel?

Nothing's been announced, but the whole thing is inevitable.

Now here's a question: who would you like to see as the villain in ultimate alliance 2? My personal vote is for Thanos.

I want the Green Goblin or Doctor Octopus to appear in some capacity.

That would be nice. And how about Venom as a playable character?

Maybe. It would depend entirely upon whether they use Eddie Brock or MacGargan.

They better use Brock. I know he's kind of dying of terminal cancer now, but Ultimate Alliance has a loose enough continuity to allow him to be in it. Plus with the movie coming out I wouldn't be surprise if Brock got the symbiote back sometime in the near future.

This month, Marvel is starting a "Back in Black" storyline in which Peter will be wearing the black costume. Whether it will merely be a costume or the symbiote is currently uniknown, but I really wouldn't be surprised if it ditched Gargan and went back to one of it's more familiar hosts.

Now, my thing with having Venom as a playable character is that Eddie rarely played the hero. Since he was a villain more often, I'd almost prefer to see him as a nemesis to Spider-Man and the rest of the team in the second game. If they make him a playable "hero", I'd tolerate Carnage acting as a villain in his stead. Then, if nothing happens to Gargan being Venom before the game's release, Venom had better be a villiain, there's just no other way to do it.

I've a feeling it's going to be the cloth black suit Black Cat made for him back in the day. No way is Pete dumb enough to risk the symbiote ever again. Plus I think it'll be a mourning thing. After all Mary Jane and Aunt May were in the sites of a sniper last issue of amazing: maybe one of 'em bites it.

I think Venom can still be a viable hero character. Sure in the main series he was a bad guy, but they always played up his anti-hero status. Then during his own series he certainly could be viewed in a heroic light, mental instability nonwithstanding.

My only problem is how do they introduce him into the group? Is he an initial character, or unlockable? I'd think he wouldn't be available until later, having been talked into joining or forcing himself upon them. Hey, what'd be even more fun would be if there were other anti-hero or villain-turned-hero characters, to make a Thunderbolts team! =D
