Boss I-no is dead easy to beat once you know the trick. What mode are you playing in, what character are you playing as, and what about I-No is giving you hell?

Well I am trying to beat the story path with all the characters to unlock Justice. He (Or was that she?) looks totally badass, and when I get Justice and the other characters, I will own the zone!

Oh, and the Boss I-No? She HEALS HERSELF, does a little black screen card trick that allows her to summon huge swarms of eyeballs to slash you apart, and is faster than the regular I-No. Lose to her once as Dizzy in the final level, and you get a really sorry ending... At least you beaten ONE path, now I gotta beat the OTHER.

Damn I wanna play as Justice!! (Looks to GameFAQS to see how to unlock Justice)

Justice = She.

Dizzy vs Boss I-No in Story Mode:

1: Set the difficulty to the easiest setting. Nobody cares if it's the easiest setting. Just do it. It helps.

2: Gatling combo K-S(far)-Ice Spike is your friend. It always seems to hit, at least in part, plus Dizzy's far Slash does good for building guard meter. You might have to do 2 slashes to get the far Slash out, but I'm not sure. I don't play Dizzy.

3: The big ball thing is called Megalomania. You'll only have to see it 3 times, as she only does it after every 1/4th of her health you deplete. Don't attack her; she's completely invincible until the move finishes. Do not jump behind her, the balls will track you.  She can FRC Megalomania at any time to change the path of the balls. To dodge...

Upward Curve: Backdash into the corner and crouch. Dead easy.

Sine wave: Stand under the peak and sloooowly walk forward with it. Once it stops, wait it out and unleash your best combo when she becomes vulnerable again.

Spread: Stand right next to her, and when the warning signs go away, double jump straight up. If you're having a hard time with it, Gold Burst through.

Just have some patience. If you can FRC the Ice Spike, do it to follow a hit with an air combo, or follow a block with more pressure. If you can't, use her super that makes the wave of fire (I forget the name).

Well in Slash, there's an easier way to unlock Justice, but I'll have to get to level 420. COME ON! Is Justice so badass that it would take so much trouble to unlock her? Make Guilty Gear Slash come out in the states already!!

I wish I could. If you wanna hit up Survival Mode and try to earn her, feel free, but in XX I never made it beyond 130.

............

If you can't make it past 130, what hope do I have against this odd challenge? Can't they just make another game to include Justice as a default fighter like they did Testament, Dizzy and I-No?

Last time I tried, I was a Jam scrub. That was...oh, 2 years ago. I'll try again now though, for the hell of it.

I like Dizzy because she's fast and powerful. I even got to that snow monster in Isuka, but never got the chance to unlock him. What a disappointing turn of events.

Made it to 40 just now. May beat me spamming whales.

EDIT: And the max for tonight is level 100. Lost to Black: EX: Potemkin, who spammed supers while I tried to Hammerfall in for FRC juggles. Damn that's a bitch.

http://isohunt.com/torrents.php?ihq=guilty+gear+slash&ext=&op=and torrent search for Slash on ISOhunt.com, since someone asked. Personally I play (mostly) at the arcade and on PS2 if someone ends up having it (I don't have a PS2 myself). The cool thing about the PS2 version is that you can choose between Slash, EX and #Reload modes during character select as well as Normal and Special modes.

If I can find a place that sells PS2 Swap discs, import Slash, and then figure out how to make the whole stupid thing work, I'll just do that and play it on my fliptop PS2.

Where'd you get your swap from?

My friend sold me his new model PS2 with a Swap Disk for PS2 and PSX, with a modded cover (normally you'd have to keep the lid open). He got it somewhere online, next time I see him online I'll ask him there it got it. All I know is that it costed him 30$ CAN, haha. Most of the games I listed in that games thread are games I play with swap.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand Slash is downloading.

I have the new fliptop PS2. I just need the swap disc and a place to import Slash from.

It's around. Haven't you seen? ACtually I'm not downloading it, a friend of mine is, cause I don't have a DVD burner. Haha.

News: I finally got Slash! I've been playing it since I got home, and I'm stuck on Order Sol, haha. It's way better, I'd say. Very well balanced.

But, KOF XI isn't even supposed to be available on a home console until June 22nd.
