Also depends how much you're buying I guess, I don't wanna sound like I'm discriminating, but I don't really like the idea of sendng a 15 dollar purchase to Brasil, when it's gonna cost me 15 bucks to send it down there. or whatever it costs.

I'll start the bidding wars.

I offer $35 for the trio of FFX, FFX-2 and Xenogears. I'll add another $5 for FF7 and FF8 together if no one offers you better. (I'm probably the only soul left alive that doesn't have those two, not counting my PC versions of them.) I'll also pay shipping (probably about $6 USPS priority mail.)

And JG - I bought FF8 for like $5 from a friend of mine ni high school. No instruction manual, just the jewel case. and its all tore up. pisses me off I'm still looking for a relatively "fresh" copy in a bargain bin somewhere. at least with the manual ffs.

Also I still don't have FF7. I do have a savegame just before fighting Sephiroth on my old Mac (OS 8.6) of course it's in Connectix Virtual Gamestation memory save format. DAMN YOU SONY FOR BUYING CONNECTIX AND SHUTTING DOWN THE VGS! DAMN YOU!!
But it was from another friend of mine in HS who lent it for me for two weeks (read: five weeks before he finally told me to just fucking give it back or he'd show up at my house and steal it back)
I also don't have FF9 either. Do have FF10 though. With a gameshark hack in one save slot with Lulu with maxed HP/MP and stats, and all other characters with like 1 hp/mp except Shiva when I feel like switching solo Lulu with Yuna directly to -> Shiva.

Microsoft bought Connectix, not Sony. MS wanted them for their Virtual PC app, which they've since used to streamline setup for their certification classes, demos, proofs of concept, etc.

Of course, both companies wanted VGS dead but for different reasons.

JG: I'm sorry, but Xenogears has been bidded on higher by someone else, the other two I will sell you for a good price. 5 bucks for the FFs is way below street price as well. No offense.

Actually we're both wrong. Nobody ever bought Connectix itself, but Sony bought its VGS and Microsoft bought its VPC.
Of course Sony stuffed the VGS into a steel bank vault the second they bought it, and I forget what M$ did with the VPC exactly.

Then Connectix shut down in 2003. The board members were probably stinking rich from those two purchases so they figured what the hell were they doing still supporting this shitty company.

PFEH.

(oh but apparently all remaining staff were transferred to Microsoft with the VPC)
