So the first batch of books came in,
Books on the left, didn't see any Viper content
Books on the right, at least some Viper content in it.

I'll try to scan the pages soon.

How much RSR preview content is in that? I've never seen that particular edition listed in any of my magazine searches for VIPER material (probably due to the misspelling)
there's 3 pages, 4 if you include the ad.
Also has a double sided folded poster of Cala and Iota,
with the other side being the Viper RSR's game cover

My magazine collection is growing, i still have to catalog and check a lot of them for Viper content..
But the Tech Gian magazines were awesome for Viper Content, as it had a lot of interviews or promo content from Sogna

Trying to find when the Maker: The Gathering section stopped including Sogna, but they had it in a lot of issues.

I thought they dumped the Maker: The Gathering section early to mid-2000s. I don't think the 2012 or 2017 mags I have include this section, in favor of more full or double page previews. I think Maker: The Gathering was great for pre- and early-internet, but once all these companies got webpages the magazines couldn't cover any newsworthy items except the previews/reviews.

Still, I appreciate the list and, perhaps someday, can hunt for the same ones.

Okay, I found the range of when they included Sogna in their Maker The Gathering section.
1998 July through to 2001 October.

Some new stuff I've gotten over the last couple of months.

* A couple of original artwork pieces (both the pencil drawings and color guides.) I'm not a big fan of The Devil Came artwork, except when its got Ratty causing funny expressions in the others.

* A collection of four M.I.N era single-sided half-sized posters for Reserve and Guyna-rock. The newer Sogna posters aren't uncommon but these must be really rare as M.I.N wasn't very large or popular at the time. I've never seen other posters from the M.I.N era. These were probably store displays, which typically get destroyed when the store closes o replaces with others.

* A bust figurine of Raika. I've seen these crop up over the years but only recently managed to win the auction for one.

* I acquired an extra copy of the GTS Drama and Sogna Music Collection II CDs that included the cards, completing the 42 card extended trading card set.

* An artbook by Atsuko Ishida, who designed the opponent characters for Animahjong X. I was hoping for more AMX art, but its only two pages in a 150 page book.

Really love that Raika bust! Hope there might be another one to buy or more info on a painted version.

I was able to nab this recently, haven't gotten it yet, though. It was the car shade they sold.

I actually don't see painted figures on YJA that often. Those are probably more often sold at anime conventions and such. The unpainted ones may be more popular in open auctions for people that kitbash, combining elements of different sets together to make new "original" characters.

Since ya'll seem interested in the Rika bust I'll keep my eye out for another. But none of you have jumped at the vinyl figures I've gotten in the shop so far, one of which is a full-body Raika. Those are $150 and I paid more than that for this Raika bust and shipping, so be aware we may be closer to $200 if I got another at that price.

Makes me happy to see artwork for the unpopular Sogna characters. They don't really get enough appreciation.

That Raika bust :o
