I spent the time with my grandparents skiing. It was a beautiful day, and my grandparents sure can cook. they make the most amazing bread i've ever had. In other news, the brawl soundtrack can make a very long car ride rather enjoyable.

This is where I got it. All the songs are MP3s, and the original post has the entire track list. it even has the warioware minigame stuff and the character win music. all with only 7 easy downloads. XD

That would seem to indicate that you are a goat. As someone who has actually taught the stuff, I can attest to this article's accuracy and wholeheartedly agree that six weeks into the intro course a teacher can tell if a student "gets it" or not. I don't mean to burst your bubble but you may wish to read that article and give it some deep thought before deciding to continue your pursuit into the summer or fall semesters. It only gets harder from here on out. If you can't handle simple looping constructs heaven help you when you get to quicksort, doubly-linked lists, hashtables, red-black trees, hybrid dictionaries and the like.

bah that stuff is nothing; learning a single language... I mean yeah it's a bitch but don't listen to JG it's all about being a trooper. I know because I sucked at first.

... then again... I do still suck. But I find syntax and command over language the easiest. It's all the professional quality program implementation that sucks it out of you after you learn a few languages. I mean jesus christ sure I can code something from the ground up but who the fuck am I to reinvent the wheel 20 times over. But do they make it easy for you to share code with others and learn how to use code modules and components in your own code to build a truly industrial-level app? Fuck no. It's like wading through a swamp of shit. So many paths to choose and they all lead to ambiguity and obtuseness - least of all because the really good programmers that write worthwhile shit never comment their fucking code

learning APIs like OpenGL; you know useful real-world shit is like dealing with manmade crap

core programming languages are logical; they make SENSE

some fucker who randomly fucking decides he wants to make some random state machine and throwing screen buffers back and forth and even though being presented with a wonderfuly OO language like C/C++ decides to create some of the nasties static implementations of graphical tools in existence with little explanation to the end-user other than "deal with it" is fucking annoying as shit

and I haven't even fucking bothered with pixel shaders yet. I just said fuck that shit i'm going home. went back to the same old boring tech support shit and gave up on ever being part of a software development firm. fucking random standards and completely arbitrary choices of coding tools and frameworks make my balls ache hardcore yo.
