This site is great.  Letting users provide search tags for the galleries seems so obvious, but its so underutilized on other sites its a crime.  I mean, if a site's got something and you can't find it via search, what's the point?

Because search is so good on this site, I found stuff here I've never been able to find elsewhere (like Needle Garden CG sets)

Came across this professionally painted Carerra statue. Dude was selling it for 650

I got ahold of him , turns out the paint got scratched in transit to another person and he is shipping it to me in the next few weeks. I'll post pics when I get the model!

Really quite the Carrera fan. I don't think JGOO has ever bought something this expensive.

it was reduced "quite" a bit because of the small blemishes on the item. Let's just say I paid less than half of the original price.

Nope. Most I've spent on a single item was $361.69 for the VIPER Collection Vol. 2 box a few months back.

I don't expect to ever spend that much again (but could if there was a truckload of original art for sale and no one else was seriously bidding it on it)

Sorry bout that guys, totally forgot the update! Here is what the gentleman said on the last email about 1.5 months ago:

"Thanks for sending the reminder. I'm sorry to say that I simply don't have the luggage space to ship her with me this time moving my family over to the states. I apologize for the disappointment. "

So, I did not get the statue after all. I was confused on why he backed out, but oh well, I'll have to keep on searchin'
