In fact, APPLE PIE made another semi-animated game about the same time - I think the name is Yume Tenshi R but I'm less knowledgeable about it than I am Lakers.

I don't think it was an Apple Pie game (VNDB lists it as being as being developed by Triangle). But I haven't played it at all, so I can't really confirm.

The rest of the Apple Pie output is not as memorable. Metal Mover Jastrike (top-view mech action game) was kinda boring, Dengeki Divison and Reijuu Twin Road (T-RPGs) forgettable at last. Lakers were really their best work.

Lakers 2 is now 85% complete. Well, first pass is 85% complete to be accurate. It will need quite a bit of editing and proofreading before it's released, but we're getting closer

Lakers II translation is now in proofreading/testing phase. Here is a video demonstrating the intro sequence (with corrected timings), the first event scene and the first battle (minus the first H-scene for obvious reason) :

"Known until then as" rather than "Known until lately as"?
"She's at the head" rather than simply 'She is the head"?

クレア is typically translated as Claire, not Clea.

Yeah it needs some proofreading and grammar correction but its most of the way there.

It's in the works. As I'm not a native english speaker, my grammar can be faulty sometimes... But fortunately, the project's main reviewer IS a native speaker, and is actively fixing every bit of broken english I left here and there  . Some of the derps you mentioned have already been corrected btw. We're about 20% done on the main script and battle dialogue.

Here's an error (S06_001 title)

"Akira reborns, Reiko raises in power!"

Reborns and raises aren't correct here. First part should be either "Akira is reborn" or "Akira resurrects" or something like that. Second part should be "rises" instead of "raises"


I haven't noticed any other incorrect phrasing, though there are some stray commas ("There are people trying to sleep, here!" in same file - should not be a comma.)
