Television Shows, what are your poisons?
« on: January 02, 2006, 12:33:08 pm »
And by television shows, I mean something not anime. I'm talking stuff that you regularly watch to the point where it's like "Yeah, I watch that show"

I don't like American TV, so here's my very small list.

-House M.D.
-Law and Order SVU
-Law and Order
-Various Documentaries on the History Channel (Usually WW2 and Occult related)
-News and Things (CNN, Bloomberg Stock Exchange, etc.)

So, let's hear yours.

Funny how all of those are American, Bill-chan.  I can't watch anything on the networks except the sports programming. Their drama shows are usually too predictable or fantastical (how many times can one person save the USA from a nuclear terrorist attack!?) and most "situation comedy" shows suck.
But since you asked, anything on History Channel that is not military-related fancies me, as does the new Battlestar Galactica series.

I hate television, too many commercials.... Ahh, who am I kidding:

CSI New York
The Office (BBC Version)
Anderson Cooper 360
Letterman
Any documentry to do with ancient world history or upto the 1500's, or that have to do with europe/asia.

Sports-wise I used to watch hockey, but its difficult to catch Redwing games where i live. I also try to watch Adult Swim. Any other time I have CNN turned on.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do I watch Sienfield, America's Most Wanted, and Hardball on MSNBC.

Viva la Bam (I FEEL SO BAD FOR WATCHING BUT GODDAMMIT DON VITO IS SO STUPID THAT I HAVE TO SEE WHAT HE DOES NEXT), various Comedy Central stand-up things, and X-Play. That's pretty much all I watch. I'd rather play video games or hunt for doujins.

Or do you mean TV in general? Most of TV anywhere is crap.

So then, action list go (animated stuff aside, I guess):
-The Daily Show
-The Colbert Report
-House

So uh, that, and a Saturday night of Toonami and Adult Swim (Sunday too, depending on what's on/new). And the news (CNN) every so often. Maybe 60 Minutes, if I feel like it.
