Ken should never ever ever be played without SAIII. It's just too good.

I hate Gill. Aegis Reflector the popsicle to death. xD

So, a Urien Player eh? Looks like sibling rivalry has risen up again! Gill is actually kind of fun once you master his abilities. Loads of FUN!!

Hehe, I'm not that good yet. I usually play with Gou/Ken/Yun/Yang, I haven't gotten used to Urien yet. I'm working on that unblockable atm =]

Haha, I'm not a charge fan, but I like to change characters from time to time so I know what to expect from other players. But alas, there are no Necro//Twelve//Alex//Hugo//Anything that's not Chun or a Shoto players over here.

Found some vids of a Japanese Dudley player. Felt they were worth sharing.

Fujiwara owning the s**t out of a Ryu player. Stupid SA1 shenanigans..

Fujiwara vs Hayao (the Hugo is actually unnamed, but you can TELL it's Hayao)

Fujiwara vs random Makoto (sick 3rd round)

tournament eh?That's cool.

Although I'm a fan of alot of the various Street Fighter games,i'm not too good at them.I'm alos a KOF fan,and own a few of them, but not too good at them.I think both SF and KOF have many interesting characters.

The only fighting games i'm good at are the various Ranma 1/2 and Sailor Moon fighting games. (Got lots of those, mostly for SNES,but also got one for my japanese Saturn.)

I never played any Capcom fighters seriously until Third Strike.

Currently I own not only Third Strike for the Dreamcast, but the Double Attack as well. Managed to unlock Gill in all three of them. That was very hard to do!

Double Impact*

I just got back into SF3 the other day... I was beasting, haha =]
I'm too aggressive. But aggression + aggressive parrying = submission, bukkake.

I take it slower in Third Strike. I poke and block more in that game than any other fighting game I've ever played. Once I've got a knockdown, or a cornered opponent (or both), that's when I start to push into more aggressive strategies.

Gonna attach this thread to the end of the SF3 sticky.

As Dudley, Ken, and Chun-Li, I beat Gill through pressure and pokes. Poke him out of his moves, capitalize properly. Close in, get ready for wake-up. If he starts to revives, dash up and whack him to stop him gaining back all his energy.

Use meaty attacks. Perfect your parrying. Gill's just some AI with uber power and mad priority.

Keep him cornered and make sure he's always blocking. Also make sure he can't counter anything you throw at him.

If you want to beat him cheap (like I did with the characters I didn't know how to use -- I had to use them if I wanted to unlock Gill), you can jump in with a roundhouse and low roundhouse (sweep) when you land. Repeat until he's dead.

Turn on the pressure when you see that his super arts bar starts to get close to MAX. Don't let him get that MAX. If he does, avoid his attacks until he uses a super, then hit him out of it if you can. THEN kill him. Or, I guess... you could just have him resurrect, then rape him out of it. Just know when he's not invincible anymore. Can't say how many KKZ (Akuma's second secret super) and supers I've wasted on that bitch. Play it safe, ex tatsu. Haha.

Use pokes, too. Even though it's a computer you can use psychology in a fight. Normally when someone gets a hit in they usually think in their head,  "Sick, now for the followup."

It's obvious. But try to break the rhythm and don't follow up the way you normally would. I don't know how to say it in other words. I heard people call this footsies or something. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm tired. I don't know what the hell I just wrote. xD

-Pressure
-Aggressive parry --> combo
-Meaty attacks
-Don't let him fill up his bar
-Pokes

Finals tomorrow, wish me luck. I'm heading to bed. xD
