Variable geo trading cards
« on: April 20, 2023, 02:36:17 am »
Im in japan right now. Nara to be precise, I brough with me my dupes from the variable geo broccoly trading card collection thinking that I may be able to trade them for more card from the other collection or sell them for some cash and bring them home. But selling stuff in japan is nearly impossible for a foreigner.

Any advice you guys can provide me would be really appreciated.

Selling on Yahoo Japan Auctions is probably your best bet. However, finding new cards for your collection is harder, as you need to find someone selling them on YJA, and then outbid everyone else for them. I do see VG cards listed every so often though. They are frequently listed alongside VIPER and other Takahiro Kimura stuff.

Sites like Suruga-ya might also deal in them. I don't know if there are trading card shops in Japan, like teleca.net exists for telephone cards, but likely.

There could also be people here interested in them, if you took some photos and attached to the thread.

This is my collection of the same cards. I managed to find someone selling the full 112 card base set on Yahoo Japan Auctions many years ago so I have each card but no duplicates.

I would however be interested in any duplicates of the silver foil cards. I have six. I know I'm missing the Yuka (SP01), Satomi (SP02), and Kaori (SP05) cards. I don't know if there are more than nine cards (Reimi is SP09) but I think not or else Tamao would probably be numbered higher than 10th.

Nice! I only got two silver foil cards, acording to the control list there are 9.

I also notice you have 3 cards from the other collection, that one is harder to find, I got a nice little lot but is not near complete.
