Back on the old Bakunyuu forum some spanish dude linked to a bunch of CG's from an unknown H-game and we were scratching our heads trying to figure out what it was from.  I recently found out that the name of the game was "Himawari Oka Sougou Byouin he Youkoso", in case anybody was still wondering about it.

I didn't actually make those Mamahaha gifs myself, but when I do want to capture an animation out of a video file I use Ulead GIF Animator 5.  After that, I usually clean it up in Adobe Imageready since it has more optimization choices.  I could get by with Imageready alone, but I'm more comfortable with UGA 5 since it's what I started out with.

Getting gifs from video files is pretty easy since all it really boils down to is providing the GIF program with the starting and stopping times for the animation you want to capture.

Here's a few Nami-SOS gifs I made a long time ago.  I also used them as avatars on Bakunyuu Baka(resized, of course).

meat, i'm lovin' that uber-bouncy kirika .gif of yours... unfortunately, i think it's got my nanako one beat...  ;_;

i DID however find my digital camera from amongst all the crap i brought home from moving out of the college dorm, and i took a couple of shots of my nanako figurine.  i may use one of them as my avatar later on.  i STILL need to fix her bow, though...

but yeah, i'd love to start making some .gifs of my own, but i'll have to save up to get a new computer first...

*bitch-slaps his crappy 40-gig hard drive / 2.0 ghz speed processer / 256 MB RAM / still has a floppy drive on it / has a hand-me-down monitor / HAS NO SLOTS FOR A GRAPHICS CARD gateway that only has about 1 gig of space left and is slow as hell...*  >X(

yeah, if your desktop icons have to reload themselves when you close out firefox or access a large folder, it's time to upgrade...  >_<;

hey, not bad!  she's kinda squished horizontally, though...  i think the dimensions on mine was 120 x 82 pixels or so, to fit the old bakunyuu forum's requirements.  i'm sure you could probably scale it up or down from that size to make it look right.
