The resembelance is quite stiring. Maybe they are both Cabbage Patch Kids, which would be frightening (means we need to go out and burn some Cabbage Patches before this demon children eat our souls).

If it did have something shoved up it's ass, the result would look even more disturbing. I think the baby was staring at a shiny thing, and the cameramen took a picture.

Besides, I don't think Cabbage Patch kids are meant to hurt anyone, despite the Robot Chicken skit. However, there are exceptions which point to that French Fry Eating Kid.
