VIPER-V6 R

Combating extended production schedules, rising costs, and an increase in piracy, Sogna turned to a familiar plan of rehashing earlier releases. They had limited success with Galactic Guardian Guynarock R, the Island series, and the Classic Collection set, but with VIPER-V6 R they took the unprecedented step of redesigning familiar VIPER series characters.

VIPER-V6 R inherited the Double Impact and The Devil Came... stories from the original VIPER-V6. However, new Japanese laws regarding the use of underage characters in hentai games forced Sogna to replace the Afternoon story with the Alien War episode from VIPER-V8.

The new design for Carrera was developed in cooperation with Moonrock so both the game and VIPER-GTS animated video representations were identical.
