Alpina is a master wizard of the demon world. Named after a German automobile company, he is developing a process to harness more energy from each human soul by converting them to crystaline form. He has partnered with Carrera in this pursuit: she is tasked with bringing him new souls to convert.

Though he rarely leaves the nether world, he is known and feared by the angels, both for his knowledge of arcane forces and for his twin phalluses, both of which he uses to great effect in subduing the angels in battle.

He makes a cameo in VIPER-GT1 by offering the protagonist a chance to be with Akira in exchange for his soul. If the protagonist accepts, Alpina will claim his soul just before he has sex with Akira, stating the terms of the contract have been met.
