Haruka is one of the three girls at the center of the Imagine story. An aspiring actress, she attends communications and media classes at the local college as a way to break into television. Somewhat adventuresome and headstrong, she is discouraged by the lack of opprotunities presented to her so far: the sole performance of merit being a short spot promoting the Chyu brand of milk candy.

As much as she loves acting, she realizes it's merely a performance that another has written, not a creation in and of itself. Therefore, she is impressed by people who create things. She is especially taken by Toshiyuki, for whom she finds his ability to create computer programs from nothing but keypresses an amazing accomplishment.

Toshiyuki is disappointed to discover she is not a virgin, but finds a way to forgive her.
