OCCUPATION:Waitress / Queen

WORD ASSOCIATION:Motherly, Analytical, Pessimist

Saki is the eldest and most sensible of the Anne Mitter's waitresses. Tall and graceful, Saki is nonetheless hampered by a weak will and enduring pessimism.

Taken captive with Akira and Karin in Rise, Saki is the first to comprehend their situation, and is doubtful they'll escape without being caught again. But after Akira explains her talents, Saki convinces the guard to unlock the cell door long enough for Akira to knock him out. The girls make their escape, avoiding capture until the final encounter with the wizard king, Seed. Akira handily defeats Seed, but Saki, understanding his people's plight desires to stay behind and help Seed rebuild his underground kingdom. She returns to Anne Mitter's a year later, where she introduces her newborn son Kiese to Akira and Karin.

In Rise After, Seed and Kiese have been kidnapped by an invading aquatic race during her son's third birthday celebration. Saki's role is limited to asking Akira to help save her family. Akira manages to save them both but at the cost of her own freedom. Saki is happy to have her husband and son back, but with their kingdom usurped and Akira held captive, she is unwilling to risk Kiese's life in a hopeless rescue. She agrees to let Narsha babysit Kiese while she joins Seed and Karin in a rescue, but soon thereafter Narsha kidnaps him again, this time for her own nefarious purposes. Akira and Makoto help save her son and her family's kingdom from the clutches of the aliens.
